  1. I'm REALLY trying to see the point of Nightmare. It does NO damage. It CAN transfer to allies accidentally in the middle of a fight if they don't know it's on the enemy or accidentally start the attack as you cast the ability, making his ability only useful if you have high game knowledge or have played him AND have a HIGHLY coordinated team. Even so, it can last a minimum of .1 seconds before literally turning the game/team fight. And because they can't move, if it gets onto an ally who is low health it is a death sentence and a kill for the enemy team. And with all the AoE damage in the game, you are so likely to wake them up from just a spell as well within the first second that getting a full Nightmare time out of the cast would only happen maybe early game as a gank, which too often will have your teammates wake them up turning the advantage that you might have had eiver over to the other team or neutralizing it.

    Just toss out the whole ability and start over.

  2. Changes to Bane have been made since this video was released. This list will contain those changes (not including number changes, since they are very frequent)

    Enfeeble has been completely reworked. When cast on an enemy that enemy will have a longer duration on all debuffs, as well as having attack speed reduced by 40/60/80/100.

    Nightmare: Bane can now attack a nightmared unit without himself being nightmared. As a trade off the ability no longer deals any damage. Nightmare also has a sub ability that is activatable when any unit has a nightmare debuff on them. This sub ability will wake up all enemies that are affected by nightmare.

    Aghanim's Scepter: No longer gives any of the benefits mentioned in the video. Instead it gives Brain Sap a 1.5 second cooldown and makes it able to be cast on spell immune enemies.

  3. League of Legends player, and I want to know/ask you DotA2 players of this hero.

    How is this balanced?
    > All point-click abilites
    > 5-20 seconds lasting abilites

    If I saw this in League, I'd quit. That doesn't look fun to play against.

  4. isnt binding some1 for 6 seconds a bit too much? and -100 damage for 20 seconds… im hoping there are skills or items that can remove the debuff. i dont really know about this game and im thinking about playing it since it looks kinda interesting. any thoughts or suggestions about the game?

  5. i once play Bane vs Rubick mid i went infeeble build and it's super funny we both keep spamming it and deal like no damage to creep lol

  6. fun fact: In ancient greek mythology Atropos was one of the three sisters of fate, one for the past(Atropos), one for the present and the other for the future. Atropos was in charge of deciding the way all mortals died and ending their life by cutting their thread of life

  8. Some things are wrong in this as of the current point in time (I'm a heavy bane user and he is the best ganking partner in the game). Aghanim's sceptre will increase the length of fiend's grip to 7 not 6 seconds. Also nightmare offers 1 second in invulnerability, so if you have mastered the use of nightmare you could use it as a shield for yourself or allies. Also Bane is good for kill securing, by using brain sap you could secure a kill and help yourself along the road of level dependance.
